1. There is no pressure in Mac OS Mojave system (10.14 or above)

Answer

1) Download VEIKK driver and install it

 

2) Open “System Preference”---“Security & Privacy”

 

 

3) Click “Privacy”—Click the lock to make changes

4) Select “Tablet Driver Center” and the drawing software

5) Lock it to save

6) Restart your computer.

3. How to install driver for VEIKK Pen Tablet/display?

Answer

1) Uninstall all tablet drivers you have installed before from your computer completely to avoid driver conflict problem. If you don’t know how to uninstall, please refer to FAQ 4

 

2) Disable all the antivirus program or firewall you have installed and keep all drawing software closed, otherwise, it maybe unsuccessful to install the driver.

 

3) Please download VEIKK driver from our official website: www.veikk.com

 

4) After download, click VK TabletDriver.exe and follow the prompts to install. If Mac system, Please open it with default installer.

 

 

 

5) After installed, you will see an icon appearing:

Windows: on the system tray (lower right corner) and the desktop  

Mac: system Preference

6) Connect the tablet and computer with USB cable, open VEIKK driver, click the tablet with the pen, if you can see the pen pressure changes, this means you have installed the driver successfully.

4. How to uninstall the installed driver?

Answer

Windows:

Method 1:

Run “Start”—“All program”—VEIKK Tablet--Uninstall

 

 

 

Follow the unload tips until unloading is finished

 

Method 2:

Run “Start”--Control Panel—Programs (Uninstall a program) -- right click “VKTabletDriver”--Uninstall

 

 

 

 

Follow the unload tips until unloading is finished

 

Then confirm if you remove previous drivers completely.
Local Disk C—-Windows—-open “systerm32” and “SysWOW64” separately— search “wintab32.dll” on the right top side bar

If you can find the files, please delete all of them

 

 

 

 

If you can’t delete it, please re-start your computer and check whether there it is, if yes, it may be occupied by some drawing software, please close the drawing software with the steps below:

Right-click Toolbar and then open “Task Manager” and then find the drawing software in “Processes” and then click “End task”

 

 

 

Mac:

Open “Finder”—–“Application”—–Left double click “VKTablet”—–Left double-click “RemoveVKTablet”, then uninstall it.

5. How to install the driver when it appears an error message of “VKTabletDriver_Mac2.2.2.mpkg” can’t be opened because it is from an unidentified developer”?

Answer

If it appears an error as below, please follow the steps:

 

1) Open “System Preferences"-----Security & Privacy

 

2) General ----Click the lock to prevent further changes---Allow applications downloaded from--Choose" App store and identified developer".

 

3) Lock to save

 

4) Download Veikk driver again from www.veikk.com

6. How to find the VEIKK driver icon on my Mac computer after installed?

Open the “System Preferences”, you will find the VEIKK driver icon

7. The pen can't control the cursor?

Answer

 

For Tablet: 

1) Please check whether the tablet is connected with the computer by USB cable successfully

 

2) Please check whether there is antivirus software, if yes, please close

    Please check whether there is any other tablet driver, if yes, please uninstall

 

3) Please try to plug the USB cable with another side

4) Please check whether you use USB converter, if yes, please try to plug the USB cable directly into computer port or try another USB converter

 

5) Whether you put the tablet in a strong electromagnetic interference environment? Just like there are computer keyboard, another tablet, phone or audio equipment etc are very near to the VEIKK tablet. If yes, please keep them 5cm or above.

 

6) Uninstall all drivers and check whether the pen can control the cursor without driver and check whether the tablet indicator light will be on when clicking the tablet with the pen

 

A-If the indicator light is on when pen click the tablet and the pen can control the cursor, then please re-install the VEIKK driver

B-If the indicator light is not on and the pen also can’t control the cursor, please contact us via service@veikk.com or message to us directly by website

 

For Display:

1) Make sure USB, HDMI and power cables are connected correctly.

 

2) Make sure the display has been turned on

 

3) Make sure your P20C pen is powered, you can charge it for 1 hour before using it.(only for VK2200 Display)

 

4) Change a USB Port or a computer to have a try.

 

5) After all cables are connected correctly, check whether the pen can control the cursor even without tablet driver. If yes, disable your antivirus and keep all drawing software closed, then go to our website to download the latest driver and install it.

8. My pen don't have pen pressure?

Answer

1) Please check whether the tablet is connected with the computer by USB cable successfully

 

2) Please check whether there is antivirus software, if yes, please close

Please check whether there is any other tablet driver, if yes, please uninstall

 

3) Please check whether you have installed VEIKK driver

Please check whether there is VEIKK driver icon on computer

 

4) Windows: Desktop and Toolbars on the right corner

Mac: System Preferences

 

A-If not have driver icon, it means you don’t installed the driver successfully, then please install the driver and then re-start your computer to test

 

B-If there is driver icon, please open it and click the pressure test area on the tablet with the pen, if the pressure level changes, it means that you have installed the driver successfully

 

 

a-If the pressure level changes in the driver, and don’t have pen pressure in drawing software, please check as following steps:

Please enable the ink function

The drawing software may need to do some settings (just like Clip studio paint, Gimp, AI), if you don’t how to set, please contact VEIKK service team

VEIKK driver is not compatible with this software (please confirm with VEIKK team)

This drawing software itself don’t support pressure

 

b-If there is no pressure in the driver, please uninstall driver (refer to FAQ 4) and then reinstall VEIKK driver (refer to FAQ3) and re-start the computer.

9. Some shortcut keys/touchpad/quick dial can't work

Answer

 

1) Check if the input method is English, if not, please use the English input method

 

2) Please open the on/off button on the A50 tablet

 

3) By Default, the express keys are mapped to standard Photoshop keyboard shortcuts.  Keys can be customized to function efficiently in other software. If it can’t work in some other software, please set the function in VEIKK driver according to the software’s requirement.

10. Under Photoshop CC, there is lines delay

Answer

1) Set the “Smoothing”, suggest make it between 10%-30%

 

2) Open Photoshop—Edit—Preferences—Performance—Uncheck ”Use Graphics Processor”

11. There is pen pressure in VEIKK driver, but no pen pressure in Clip Studio Paint

Answer

Open Clip Studio Paint--file-preference—tablet—Choose “wintab”

12. Gimp Windows don't have pen pressure

Answer

Open GIMP—Edit—Input Device

 

 

Choose “VEIKK Tablet pressure stylus”—Mode(Screen)--Close

 

 

Go to the left corner, click the icon    with the tablet pen, and choose “Pressure Size”(note: click and choose with the tablet pen)

13. How to add pressure pen in AI software?

Answer

1) Open AI ,choose Brush—New Brush(if you didn’t find the following interface,please press F5 on your computer)

 

 

2) Select “Calligraphic Brush”—“OK” 

 

 

3) Choose “Pressure” and make the “Variation” value to max and then choose “OK”

14. There is no signal for display

Answer

1) Check whether the power cable, USB cable and HDMI cable are all connected correctly

 

2) Check whether the LED light is green, please make sure to turn on the on/off button(it is on the back of the display)

 

3) If there is no HDMI port on your computer, please use an HDMI converter to connect

 

4) Try another HDMI cable

 

5) Try another computer

15. How to switch between Right-hand and Left-hand modes?

Answer

Pen Tablet: 

1) Please open the Mapping window, and then choose Right-hand Mode or Left-hand Mode.

 

2)  Rotate the tablet 180 degrees

 

Pen Display:  

1- Windows:

Before setting the rotate function, you have to set your computer to "Extend

These Display"

Please right click the Desktop and choose “Screen resolution”, set your computer to "Extend These Display"

 

Open VEIKK driver, choose “Mapping” –Rotate—Choose 180

 

 

Rotate the display 180 degrees.

 

2-MAC:

Please open “System Preferences”, then click Displays–Arrangement.

16. How to calibrate the display?

Answer

1) Please right click the Desktop and choose “Screen resolution”, set your computer to "Extend These Display"

 

 

2) Open the VEIKK driver—Click ”Start Calibration”

 

 

3) Calibrate it with your normal drawing pose

17. How to set to extend mode/mirror mode?

Answer

For Windows:
(1). Please go to the display setting in the system control panel.
(2). If you want to set to mirror mode, both of the monitors must be set the same DPI.
(3). If you want to set to extend mode, please right click and choose “Screen resolution”.
(4). Pay attention to “Multiple displays” and choose “Extend these displays”.

For Mac:
(1).Please open System Preferences, then click Displays–Arrangement. Please don’t choose the “Mirror Displays”.
